The Empire hires them (I believe Ostland keeps a specific group of them around with big guns), Kislev hires them, Tilea definitely hires them, Bretonnia typically hates mercenary bands and has been known to crusade into the Mountains of Mourn only to get eaten (their knights are referred to as 'tin food').Įlves, particularly those of Ulthuan, generally disdain them as a lowly and dimwitted race.

However, Zhufbar has driven over a dozen ogre attacks on the Moot (Halfling territory) and the Dwarfs in general can count the Ogres as foes due to them raiding Dwarf holds and eating Dwarfs when it suits them. In the end only Golgfag and his partially eaten oldest comrade Skaff were left alive, which impressed Ungrim so much he ordered him released. After a bunch of campaigns he was eventually ambushed by the Karak Kadrin Dwarfs and thrown into their prison to rot with his band and Greenskin prisoners. Ungrim and Golgfag won a battle against and captured Gnashrak, Golgfag then went on to loot Ungrim's treasury at Karak Kadrin despite getting paid. The Ogres under Golgfag (who has looted Ulthuan before) were hired by orc warboss Gnashrak but ate too many gobbos, they got into a fight and Golgfag ripped off Gnashrak's arm, then Golgfag went to Ungrim and offered his services and was accepted. Generally martially proficient big brutes, useful but not really welcome company.
